Lessons
We are teaching lessons from1:00 pm to 10:00 pm Monday through Friday. Weekend appointments are also available. Call the studio at (914) 670-7070 if you would like more information about lessons or to schedule an appointment.

ntroductory Program: If you are new to our studio do try our Introductory Program. This program for new students consists of two 30-minute private lessons plus one practice party for $80. No partner is required. The lessons may be taken by an individual or a couple.This program is a great way to get started at the studio and to meet our talented instructors. These lessons may be used to learn one or several different types of dance. You decide with your instructor which dances you would like to learn.

rivate Lessons: The one-on-one training Fred Astaire Mamaroneck offers through its private lessons are the most efficient and fun way to learn ballroom dancing. Teachers and students set dance goals together. Regular private lessons are 45-minutes long. Dancing with an instructor for the entire session gives you a great cardio work-out. All of our students begin by learning the basics of good social dancing on their private lessons. Some then choose to move on to our Competitive Dancesport Programs or Exhibition Styling Programs.

roup Classes: The studio offers group classes on Tuesdays and Fridays. Group classes provide students with new steps and the opportunity to practice dancing with several different partners. Information about the monthly group class schedule will be coming very soon! There will be rhythm on Mondays, and smooth on Fridays. When you sign up for a series, you will work through the classes and get a certificate at the end of the three (3) month. Starting in May 2011, new students be trained in “social foundation” and after the twelve classes, will know beginner patterns and elements that will allow you to feel comfortable dancing in any social situation!
No group classes are scheduled for this month. Instead, please take advantage of our Introductory Special and try two private lessons with one of our professional instructors.
